In a world where waves dance with the setting sun,

Near my beautiful Island….

I sailed, to feed my people.

This is how my journey begun.

Upon a boat, I ventured far and wide,

Seeking solace in the depths of the tide.

I am Moana of Motunui, my spirits are strong and bright,

I navigated through the darkest nights.

With dreams in my heart and hope in my eyes,

I sailed through storms, under infinite skies.

Beneath the stars, I sought my destined site,

A sanctuary where my dreams would embrace.

But life’s tempests infused, challenging my might,

Often, I battled the winds, holding onto my light.

Days turned to weeks, and weeks to endless months,

Yet I persevered, conquering my fears.

As I am Moana of Motunui.

The daughter of the Village Chief

With each sunrise, I have mended the sails anew,

For my spirit are steadfast, so are they true.

The world around me whispered tales of despair,

Yet I remained determined, never to despair.

With every wave that crashed against my boat,

I held onto faith, refusing to float.

I fished for hope in the depths of the sea,

For treasures unseen, waiting patiently.

I wove my dreams into nets of sheer will,

Casting them wide, hoping destiny would fulfill.

Through turbulent waters, I steered my way,

Through tides of doubt that threatened to sway.

But with each challenge, my spirit would grow,

For I knew deep within, I had the strength to bestow

As I am Moana of Motunui…..

My boat may be small, and resources few,

But my heart overflowed with resilience anew.

For I am a girl, unyielding and bold,

Guided by a fire that would never grow cold.

And one fine day, as the sun’s rays caressed,

A distant shore appeared; my heart full of zest.

I docked my vessel, stepped onto the land,

A testament to my courage, hand in hand.

For on that boat, I found my inner might,

In the face of adversity, I learned to fight.
